Apostle Patricia A. Wiley
Time to Change: A Daily Devotional is Patricia Wiley's first published book. It is the result of ministering to members and ministers for more than a decade. She shares God’s heartfelt instructions on how to live an abundant life. The text is easily approachable as it takes readers by the hand and ushers them into maturity, while pointing them directly to the Word of God. The teacher shows up through the pages and admonishes the reader to take Time to Change on a daily basis.
Apostle Patricia Ann Wiley is the daughter of Deacon Kater Rodgers and the late Katie Rodgers. She is a former member of the Bethesda Baptist Church where she served for 36 years under the leadership of the late Dr. C.E. Nesbitt, Sr.
Apostle Wiley is married to Apostle Wesley J. Wiley Pastor of Resurrection Temple of Our Lord, Brooklyn, New York.
Apostle Wiley is presently senior pastor and organizer of Oil of Joy Ministries II, Inc. in Brooklyn, New York and oversees several ministries under the Oil of Joy banner.
She is an educator for the New York City board of Education at P.S. 158K. She has been teaching since graduation from Hunter College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in education/sociology and then followed by a Master of Science Degree in education, (specializing in early childhood education). God has sent her into various areas of teaching, bringing her back to the area of early childhood. She believes that she can give children the best start by giving them are best, for she believes that people should work as unto the Lord.

The Apostle Wiley also founded and is coordinator of “UMOJA” models, a group of professional models with God-given talent to bless others. They have been performing throughout the Metropolitan area, as well as New Jersey for various organizations, charities, churches and private individuals.
As a graduate of Barbizon School of Modeling, Apostle Patricia Wiley has received training under the expertise of Mr. Travis Winkey of Travis Winkey Studios of Baltimore, Maryland, through the Edwin Hawkins Music and Arts Seminar. She has assisted Mr. Winkey in teaching and training new models. She has also taught fashion seminars in various states. She has modeled as a full-figure model across the United States of America. Apostle Wiley has modeled for several modeling troops: Justice Unlimited Models, Kochise Models and others. She has coordinated shows throughout New York, New Jersey, Michigan and Philadelphia, just to name a few.
God called Apostle Wiley and Reverend Sharon Pitkins to started Christian Women and Men Intercessory Prayer Group, which started in her apartment with two members. By the direction of the Holy Spirit, they began having Bible Study before Intercessory Prayer. Today, it has grown to one hundred or more intercessors and hundreds of others have come through its doors.
Bishop Jerry Anthony O.Graham ordained Apostle Wiley, March 1994, to the office of Reverend. On July 26, 1998, Apostles Martin and Michelle Johnson of Kingdom Worship Center, Denver, Colorado consecrated her to the office of Apostle. She now oversees several ministerial leaders, training and equipping them for God’s anointed directions for their lives. In addition, she is Founder and President, along with her husband Apostle Wesley Wiley, of the “In the Word Bible Institute”, Brooklyn, New York, where she is dedicated in teaching the Word of God, in depth, to his people.
Apostle Patricia Wiley has been on radio and television throughout the country, such as TBN, WWRL, WWDJ, TCT and WGBB as well as numerous news segments. In addition, she travels extensively throughout the country preaching and teaching God’s word.
Apostle Wiley has successfully started several youth programs to enhance our youth. Her mission is to help shape and mold today’s youth into tomorrow’s leaders, i.e.; Pamoja (Togetherness) is geared toward young women ages 12-22 to help motivate and encourage them to be all that they can be in Christ Jesus; Ain’t Misbehavin Children’s Ministry – serving children ages 3-12 – who are discovering and developing the skills and God-given talents residing within them and Fashioned for His Glory Women’s Ministry –Women that come together to help to exhort and enhance one another as women of God.
Apostle Wiley ha successfully incorporated school and church by sponsoring numerous “Gospel Extravaganzas” in District 19 and as a result raised thousands of dollars which was donated to P.S. 158 to purchase various items that benefited the children, school and community.
Earning numerous awards, citations and merits of honor, Apostle Patricia Wiley is a highly decorated public figure. In 2001, she received the Ecumenical Award presented by the key Women of America. She was nominated for “Woman of the Year 2002”, by Women of Substance Ministries. In addition, she was awarded the “Shero Award 2003 from District 16 of Brooklyn, New York. Most recently, she was recognized and honored as the Minster of Ministers by the Women’s Empowerment Movement in May 2004.
